Naria Halliwell is the founder and president of Halliwell MediaWorks, a communication and media consulting firm. Naria works with senior executives across a wide variety of industries and brands to prepare them for upcoming media (broadcast, print, podcast, digital) or public speaking opportunities such as commencement addresses, industry panels/firesides or testifying before Congress. In addition to earned media, Naria advises her clients on their owned media strategies and content on social media platforms, opinion pieces, and internal comms. Clients include: Meta, Peloton, Dow Jones, Eventbrite, Hearst Media, Stubhub, and many others.
Prior to launching Halliwell MediaWorks in 2012, Naria worked for over a decade as an award-winning network news producer at ABC News, where she produced everything from breaking news to hour-long documentaries to Diane Sawyer Specials. While producing top-rated segments for the network, Naria received several awards including an Emmy nomination.
Naria graduated with honors from Brown University. A lifelong New Yorker, Naria and her family currently live in Providence, RI, where her husband is the Managing Director of the Brown University endowment. Naria sat on the board of her synagogue, Temple Beth Shalom in Hastings-on-Hudson NY, for close to a decade prior to moving to Rhode Island. Additionally, she was the Vice President and is the current co-President of the Brown University class of 1997.
