Robb Friedlander

Director of Organizing and Advocacy

Robb Friedlander serves as the Director of Organizing and Advocacy at Zioness, elevating the voices of progressive, Zionist activists across the country. With over 15 years of experience as an organizer and movement builder, Robb has worked on various social movements, including hunger, immigration reform, and LGBTQ+ rights.

Originally from Kansas City, Robb grew up deeply involved in the Reform Jewish community. He later studied at Hofstra University, where he actively worked to combat anti-Zionist actions on campus. Robb also spent time studying at Ben-Gurion University in Be’er Sheva, Israel, after multiple visits that strengthened his connection to the land.

Now in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, Robb enjoys life with his wife, their dog Kaycee, and chasing their son Levi around the apartment.

Robb’s passion for Zionism is a deep, visceral feeling he describes as the soul-stirring connection he feels when singing Eli Eli. For him, it’s about connecting the past, present, and future while striving to build a better future for his child.
