Zioness was acknowledged in the Jewish Telegraphic Agency (JTA) for our stance on the arrest of Mahmoud Khalil. While we vehemently oppose Khalil’s history of antisemitic rhetoric, we firmly believe that his detention by ICE raises serious concerns about civil liberties and the misuse of immigration enforcement to target political dissent. As a movement committed to justice and democracy, Zioness condemns any government overreach that threatens fundamental rights, especially in ways that could set dangerous precedents for marginalized communities, including Jews.
