Jewish New Yorkers are divided following Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani’s win. Some feel uneasy about his views on Israel, while others are optimistic about his progressive platform.
In Spectrum News NY1’s coverage, Amanda Berman, Founder and CEO of Zioness, spoke about the concerns many in the Jewish community share:
“There’s a gaslighting feeling,” Berman said. “There’s a feeling of someone saying, ‘I care about you,’ but not taking any steps to show us that that’s true.”
