“This is yet another sign that the DSA is both not progressive, and not viable. True progressives don’t operate essentially as dark money super PACs while claiming to champion campaign finance transparency. From celebrating Hamas barbarity and advancing outright antisemitism as an organizing strategy, to 7-figure financial mismanagement leading to layoffs, and now learning that DSA in New York played fast and loose with election rules—it’s long past time for true progressive office-seekers to abandon the DSA, just as the progressive base already has.”
