This moment has called for us to reflect, listen, and ask how we can show up as the best allies and accomplices for our siblings and friends in the Black community. While there are infinite amounts of listening left to do, we have already heard overwhelmingly from our partners and allies that we should start this work by understanding and confronting the implicit biases within all of us, as citizens of the United States and participants in the unjust systems and institutions that hold up our country—and hold down Black Americans.
